Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
LMFT License #134612
Specializing in individual, couples, and family therapy and maintains a private practice in Irvine, CA.
Welcome to my therapy practice! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing services in Irvine, CA. I completed my Masters in Clinical Psychology at Hope International University and began working in private practice shortly afterward. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in the corporate world over 25 years in the areas of education, sales, finance, and most recently, adoption. I discovered my passion for helping others in my role of Adoption Advisor counseling Birth Parents and Adoptive Parents during their emotionally-charged adoption journey. It is this passion and my own life challenges, healing, and personal growth that served as the catalyst in my pursuit of becoming a therapist.
My Mission
Entering the field of therapy later in life has been a tremendous gift, as it has enriched my practice with invaluable personal experiences. These life experiences have played a significant role in fostering a deeper understanding of my clients and the challenges they encounter. My own journey of self-discovery has allowed me to connect with empathy and compassion, creating a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients to share their stories.
My primary goal as a therapist is to assist you in gaining a deeper understanding of your thoughts, emotions, and actions, and how they contribute to your current struggles and challenges. Together, we will explore the underlying meaning behind your experiences, enabling you to gain insight into your needs, desires, and patterns of relating.
I am here for you.
I recognize it takes courage and vulnerability to sit with a perfect stranger and share details about your life, relationships, and struggles. I am a firm believer in that there is no issue or setback that is too large to overcome. Therapy is a gift you give yourself. It can truly transform your life and provide you with the opportunity to become your best self.
